Energy efficient building
An energy-efficient building is one in which the used materials and solutions make it possible to reduce energy losses.
WHAT IS
An energy-efficient house
An energy-saving building is a modern house with uncomplicated architecture. It is distinguished by a compact shape, with a single- or double-sloping (gable) roof. The windows should have a low heat transfer coefficient, and the largest glazing should be located on the south side.
Energy-saving houses are no longer an individual choice, the introduced regulations impose an obligation to build only such buildings. Currently, in Poland, an energy-efficient house is one in which the demand for heating energy is up to 45 kWh/m2 per year.
WHY IS IT WORTH IT?
Minimization of heat loss
An energy-efficient house is primarily about minimizing heat loss, which in a traditional building occurs mainly through ventilation, walls and windows. However, the amount of energy needed to heat a passive house is reduced by up to 80% using the IZODOM technology.
An energy-efficient house is most often heated with a heat pump or condensing boiler. In addition, it is recommended to use solar energy from photovoltaic panels.
BENEFITS
Savings on heating
- Low cost of heating and maintenance, thanks to the minimization of thermal bridges and the use of RES.
- An energy-efficient house does not lose its value, and due to increasingly restrictive regulations, it will be worth more than a traditional one in the future.
- Energy-saving building materials and the heating system reduce the negative impact on the natural environment.
